Since 2008 we have enjoyed running our own woodworking business. When we became parents to our daughter for the first time in 2017, we chose 'woodland animals' as the theme for her room. With foxes, deer and beautiful wooden accessories. We wanted her name in letters on the wall, but we thought the brightly colored letters with animals that are often for sale did not fit with a 'forest theme'. Ultimately we chose handmade felt letters that we made ourselves on a branch of a tree. This was very cute. But when we became parents for the second time, this time to a son, the choice was very difficult. We also had a 'forest' theme for his room. We didn't think cute felt letters were appropriate for a boys' room. We really wanted letters made of wood. But all the nice things we found on Pinterest were not sent to the Netherlands. In the end we ordered bare, oak letters, with the idea that we would paint them ourselves with beautiful forest animals. Something that never happened after his birth. This is how the idea for our letters came about. The letters are exactly what we were looking for at the time, but couldn't find anywhere. A beautiful, soft and calm appearance, fits well with the 'forest' theme and very cute because of the sweet forest animals on it. We hope you are as excited as we are!

We are a family business founded in November 2012 and located in a rural area in Pärnu County, Estonia. It all started in the summer of 2012 when we went to the coast for a day. We decided to build a fire to create a cozy and uplifting atmosphere. Although we came across plenty of firewood in the forest, it was all too damp to use - it would never catch fire. And that's where the idea was born: a product that is dry, easy to light and can start a nice fire. Initially we focused on market research. The question was whether gas stations sell products besides logs, which are heavy to carry and create a lot of waste. It became clear that there were some competitors, such as burning logs, on the market, but these were in short supply and the range was somewhat limited. That's why our team decided to develop the product. Our friends immediately liked it and continued to order it from us. The idea was born in June 2012 and the first sales took place at the end of the summer during the Ancient Lights event in Pärnu. Today, thanks to Brain Hunt - an annual start-up competition for young entrepreneurs - Woodbright offers environmentally friendly wooden products for decorative purposes. What started as an idea during a beach day has grown into the Woodbright brand, whose products are available on the Estonian retail market.
