About us
Scheepstimmerwerf Peter Schouten is a traditional shipyard located in Kortenhoef, specializing in the construction and restoration of wooden ships. They have been in operation for 40 years and offer their own designs for new builds. They have recently completed projects such as the reconstruction of an 18th-century trekschuit and the construction of an Eco-schouw, a low-maintenance boat with various capabilities. They have also introduced a new design called the Wadden Pilot.
