Modern and professional In 1999, Herbert Groeneveld started as an interior builder with passion and craftsmanship. The collaboration with André Poirot started in 2001 with the aim of creating the most beautiful interiors together. This collaboration has grown into Groeneveld & Poirot Interieurbouw BV. Staff were soon added and after a number of years of working from home, the company moved to a workshop in Nieuw-Lekkerland. Since 2011, Groeneveld & Poirot Interieurbouw BV has been working from a workshop in Alblasserdam, where there is room for a state-of-art machine park including four modern CNC-controlled machines. Computer-controlled design and preparation The design is worked out in detail by our designers and work planners, after which the custom-made furniture goes into production. The desired design is created in 3D using the most modern computer software. The software translates the design into practice and calculates exactly what materials and operations such as sawing and milling are needed. This is based on an optimal economical and sustainable layout without wasting materials. Groeneveld & Poirot has been working for more than fifteen years on the basis of innovations and the latest computer techniques to work more efficiently, faster and more precisely in traditional execution. Our custom interiors are produced in our own workshop by professional interior builders. We train our young staff ourselves as much as possible.
